Funeral - James Oliver

Donation protected
I write this with a heavy and broken heart and I know so many people will be feeling the same. Our beloved, beautiful, funny, kind-hearted James Oliver passed away last week. It was unexpected, sudden and of course far, far too soon.

It was an honour and a privilege to have met James 20 years ago. We were together for 11 of those years and remained dear friends since.

James was extraordinary. He went out of his way to help others. He was gentle, caring and thoughtful. One of his sayings was 'we are all stars'. Well, he was one of life's most precious, brightest and most beautiful stars of all. He will be missed by so many.

James's funeral service will be held on Friday 5th February at 3pm at Woodvale Crematorium, Brighton. Sadly, because of Covid, numbers will be limited. However, the service will be live-streamed, so that everyone who wants to be involved can in some way be there and feel a part of it. (The link to join will be shared as soon as we have it). James didn't have savings and has no close relatives so, if you are able to and would like to make a donation towards covering his funeral costs, that would be much appreciated. In the event of donations exceeding the funeral costs, any surplus monies will be donated to an animal charity that James supported, called Trampled Rose Rescue & Rehab.
