Funeral Juana Cortes de Lugo

Dear Family and Friends,

Our loving grandmother passed away on December 31, 2022 in Dallas. We are asking you to help us send her home to Mexico to her final resting place. She battled dementia and Alzheimer's disease for many years while living in Dallas, but regardless of her state of mind, she always asked for someone to take her back to her "rancho". Help us make it possible. The cost for transporting her to Mexico is $6k.

Born on June 12, 1923 daughter of Prisciliano Cortez and Micaela Palomo, she is the last of her family. She lived a long and fulfilling life having had 5 sons and 3 daughters - Genaro Lugo, Santos Lugo, Francisco (Pancho) Lugo, Jose Maria (Fidel) Lugo, Manuel Lugo, Ofelia Lugo, Cayetano Lugo, and Ortencia Lugo. Along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was born and raised in Nuevo León along the regions of Santa Lucia and Doctor Arroyo. The last of her family line, she is survived by her daughter Santos Lugo and her son Cayetano Lugo.
