Geoffrey Lariosa, age 61, of Alpharetta, GA passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Crestita Lariosa, his children, Jennifer, Gianni Geoffrey, Johan Geoffrey, and Yuriy Geoffrey Lariosa, Mother Julieta Lariosa, Brothers and Sister In Law Joselito (Pearl) Lariosa, Filemon Lariosa and Sisters and Brothers in Law, Glenda (Boyet) Rosales, Dina (Randy) Laroa, Father in Law, Joe Parreño, Sister and Brothers in Law, Janefer Parreño, Jose Parreño, and his two doggies: Murphy and Enzo.
Geoffrey was born March 19, 1961 in Cebu, Philippines. He migrated his family to the US along with the talented Engineers in the Telecom industry. He is a cycling enthusiast at a very young age who never skipped a beat with his passion on training. And up until the finish line, he passed doing what he really loved. . . cycling. On light given days, he enjoys road trips with his family, making oatmeal for breakfast, having lunch dates with his wife, and of course cleaning his bikes. At work he is regarded as a hard working colleague, who his manager quoted as one who meant so much to the team. As a Father, he is a great provider and supporter to his children; never missing a phone call and especially answering questions on technology and cars. He loves to hear day-to-day updates whether good or bad, accomplishments, and funny moments. As a loving husband, he is a confidant and the backbone of his family whom he always puts first. He supports all family decisions with unconditional trust and faith. As the eldest brother, the Manoy for all four siblings, he is soft-spoken and meant so much to them. They were so excited for their Manoy to visit the Philippines next year and see all family and friends. Each time his sisters from back home call us, they always ask to talk and see him. As a friend he always greets with kindness and enthusiasm, ready for a good time and making jokes. He is down to earth and always have listening ears with a sincere smile ready to help people. He is accommodating, fair and square in his dealings. You can always depend on him and he is always ready to receive and give you a call whatever time of the day.
Geoffrey is tenacious in his goals and family health. He is humble and warm. Truly a genuine, kind, and simple man. As heart breaking and painful as it is to know that Geoffrey will no longer be with us, we will embrace what is God’s plan.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM Thursday, October 20th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. A meal of condolence will be served at the church following the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20th from 6 to 9 PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
