Funeral & Memorial Expenses for Karly Rain Wood

I can’t believe I’m writing this right now, but Amber lost her baby girl last night in a tragic unexplainable shooting…Karly wasn’t even 21 yet. No one can understand why Karly?!!

Karly was working two part-time jobs as a cocktail waitress and at Target. Karly was saving to buy a house and start her own business. Karly was charismatic, unique, and strong. As a single mother, Amber instilled that drive, and independence Karly had. She was a beautiful and classy soul that everyone loved! She always tried new things and was smart with her goals. Saturday night Karly decided to go support some co-workers by going to a party. Karly always went right home after work, but that night she decided to go. God took her from this earth Saturday night/early Sunday morning and Amber’s little girl is gone over a senseless act of violence. Someone called Karly a hero that night for saving the other seven lives.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help cover Karly’s funeral expenses. No parent is ever ready to bury their child and funeral expenses should not be Amber’s worry right now.

Amber or “Big Red” as many know her is known by so many people in Omaha community. There isn’t anywhere she can go where she doesn’t know someone.
