He was an honest hard working man. The love and support is felt by my family. I can not express my gratitude enough.

Hi, my name is Ty Pham and I am setting up a Gofundme page for my brother in law Tho Le.

On the morning of August 23rd, 2023, the life of an amazing man ended. Tho was struck at a crosswalk in Mokena. Then taken to Silver Cross Hospital in critical condition. He sustained severe injuries and died shortly after. The doctors tried their best to resuscitate Tho for nearly two hours. His life was taken too soon. We are in complete shock and disbelief.

Tho was an excellent example of resilience. He never gaved up in hard times. He was humble when life was great. He truly was a special type of man. If you knew him, you would feel inspired to do anything because he had so much motivation in life. Life wasn't easy for Tho, he worked very hard to cherish what he did have. He continued to work hard for what he didn't have.

His death is very unfortunate. At 37, he had so many dreams. Now they will never come true. There was so many things, Tho did not get to experience. It is terrible to know my brother in law will never experience love for the first time, marriage and starting a family. Visiting Japan and continuing his education to learn and speak Japanese. Becoming a massage therapist. Tho opportunities and dreams were taken away from him.

At the end, Tho was able to do something he loved very much. His passion in life were running, biking, and living sustainable to protect the earth.

He had his last jog in Mokena before he was struck. Rest in Peace, Tho. We love you forever.
