Funeral& Memorial Fund for Kevin's dad: Shawn Kwon

Dear Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we come to you today to share the devastating news of the passing of Kevin's beloved father, Shawn (Soon Kwon). Shawn was not only a devoted single father, but a pillar of strength and guidance for Kevin. Shawn was a father who dedicated his life to make sure his son was safe & had everything he needed. His health deteriorated rapidly in his last few weeks with us, and his departure has left a void in Kevin's life, one that won’t ever be filled.

As friends of Kevin's, we know firsthand the dedication, love & support Kevin has always shown up with for others in times of need. Now, as he navigates this loss, it's our turn to rally around him & offer our support.

I've created this GoFundMe page to help alleviate the financial burden that comes with laying a loved one to rest and supporting the family during this difficult time. Funeral expenses, medical bills, honoring his father’s wishes to be buried at home in Korea, and other unforeseen costs can add up quickly. We want to ensure that Kevin can focus on grieving and healing without the added stress of financial worries.
