Funeral of beloved Emmanuel Nyabako

Our beloved Emmanuel tragically lost his life at the age of 19, just after celebrating his birthday a week prior on 20th August 2023. This distressing event was by virtue of knife crime; our family is deeply saddned and heartbroken, Emmanuel will be loved and remembered forever. The rise in knife crime is now at alarming levels, as too many young lives have been tragically lost and many family’s have been wounded. The devastation caused by knives is real.

Emmanuel was an amazing brother, son and friend of many, he touched many lives around us all and was loved by many more. Emmanuel had beautiful characteristics and his cheesy smile and warm aura would light up a dark room. His caring and loyal personality has many favouring him. Even from a very young age Emmanuel committed his life to helping others, caring for those around him, he was also extremely smart and witty. It pains us to say that we won’t see him mature into the amazing man we knew he would become, and due to an act of brutality Emmanuel has been forced to leave behind his beloved mother, his three brothers, friends and many more family members he had yet to meet who all love him dearly.

We are all devastated by Emmanuel’s loss and we could have never prepared ourselves for this moment. We wish to give Emmanuel the memorial he deserves, to honour his memory, his life and to say our last goodbyes. As family and friends of Emmanuel, we are asking for any donations no matter how big or small, they may be, to help with Emmanuel's farewell send off.
