Funeral Service Expenses for Vanessa Rios

Donation protected
On Easter Sunday morning April 17, I lost my sister Vanessa Rios. I have lost a sister, my parents have lost a daughter, and her friends have lost such a beautiful friend.

We have been so blessed to have her here for the amount of time we had with her. While although she lived a short life, many of us loved her and will continue loving her. Her beautiful soul and heart will finally rest In peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Throughout Vanessa’s life here on earth, she was able to make such beautiful memories in such a short amount of time with her friends and family. However, in the year of November 2015 she has suffered a hardship. At the age of 20 years old her innocence was taken away by the word cancer. Being diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma was one of her heart breaking moments and throughout the starting of her 20’s.

Last year 2021 on November 30, Vanessa went through such a risky surgery to remove two large tumors in her left lung. With Vanessa’s strength she went for this surgery and the operation was a success. Unfortunately in less than a month a new tumor was discovered in her spine on December 24. From there she was consider paralyzed from the stomach down.

Unfortunately, there was no more other options. Her dreams and wishes were completely shattered. On December 30, Vanessa returned from the hospital to be put on hospice. As what any helpful loving family would do we took care of her here in our own home. To complete one of her last wishes she asked to die here in her home and not in a hospital.

As we knew this time would come, we saw her suffering more throughout the days. We thank God and many of our friends and families for giving us the strength for pushing us forward. We ask if anyone can donate, as of any donations would be greatly appreciated to help with the expenses for her funeral. As a lot of us don’t have the financial means for a funeral we ask that if anyone can help we would really greatly appreciated and will always be thankful.

As Vanessa would say, “I won my battle with cancer.”

May she Rest In Peace.
