Jacquelyn (Jaxs) Haynes (1964 - 2023)
Jacquelyn, or Jaxs as she preferred, 59, of Overland Park, KS, died on her birthday, December 12, 2023.
She was born in San Bernardino, California to Jack Rohn and Mary Lou Stephens. She attended Norwalk High School before moving to the Midwest and made her home in the Kansas City area. She always had a smile in her heart and the truth on her lips. She was a proud stay at home mother and caretaker to all who needed her help, wether they asked for it or not. She worked for several years at the KC Renaissance Festival where she made even more lifelong friends and "fairmly". She loved putting around in her garden, making floral arrangements, and watch and raise her grandbabies. She was a free spirit in life and now her spirit is riding free on the backs of dragons.
Jaxs was preceded in death by her father Jack Rohn and brother Michael Scott Rohn.
Jaxs is survived by her mother Mary Lou Dokken (Sanford), long time partner Steven Meyer, ex husband Linden Haynes, siblings Jack Rohn Jr, Sonya Dokken (Nicholas) and James Dokken, her children, Kurtis Rohn, Shawna Scanlon (Patrick), Victorya Walker (Gary), Emily Jones (Robert), as well as her "adopted" children and several beloved grandbabies.
Family Visitations will be Saturday, Dec 16 from 12:30 -1 PM and Sunday, Dec 17 from 3-5 PM. We humbly ask for friends to join us on Saturday from 1-3 PM.
A celebration of Jaxs' life will be held on Monday, Dec 18 at 2 PM with visitation starting at 1 PM for family and 1:30 for all who would like to join.
All services and visitations will be at Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens. 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210
