On Tuesday, my best friend’s younger brother, Ryan, 21, passed away unexpectedly. I knew him for many years and anyone else who knew him knew how much he loved his family and his friends. He had the most caring heart and the goofiest of personalities. So goofy he told people his name was spelled “Ryen,” even at school. His name in my phone was always spelled that way too. If someone he loved needed something, he was the person you would call and he would be there immediately. He enjoyed the little things, like flying his kite and playing basketball, and always had the biggest smile on his face. If you ever needed a laugh, Ryan would give you many. Heaven gained an angel too early. We love and miss you, Ryan.
