Funeral Services For Tyler Morris
Rest in Peace Daddy 12/06/1970 - 01/01/2020
On January 1st, 2020, my loving father, Tyler Morris unexpectedly passed away in his sleep at home at the young age of 49. No combination of words can truly describe the complete earth-shattering shock and heartbreak that has shaken my world and my family.
My father, Tyler, was born December 6, 1970, in Winsted, CT; the son of the late James and Cheryl (Beecher) Morris. My dad was a charismatic, bubbly man who lit up any room he walked into with his big smile and contagious laugh. He loved fishing, boating on Highland Lake and Lake Zoar in the summer, skiing, and hiking and hunting with his dog and best friend, Harley. His passions in life were his two daughters, myself and my younger sister Jordan and coaching girls softball towards becoming college athletes.
I am my father's next of kin and am currently in the planning stage of all wake & funeral services for my father. In the midst of this unexpected loss, I am currently a full-time graduate student at the University of Connecticut finishing my master's degree in special education. I will be using these donations in order to cover all the funeral expenses so we may honor and celebrate my father's life and legacy in the way he would want to be remembered. Any extra funds will be used to support his two children (myself and Jordan) in our endeavors, such as college.
To my Dad,
I love you so incredibly much; with my entire heart and soul. Thank you for bringing me into this world with Mom and raising me to be the strong woman I am today and will continue to be. I pray that you are at peace now that God has taken you home. I pray that your passing was peaceful and free from any pain as you drifted to sleep that night. Only God knows why your time to enter the gates of heaven was at this moment. You were full of so much light and life. I know how excited you were to make this year your best one yet.
I hope you are drinking a cold one while fishing out on the lake on a beautiful summer day with your father who also left you too soon so many years ago. Please give Grandma a hug and kiss for me.
I desperately wish you could be here to walk me down the aisle when I get married one day, hold your future grandchildren and teach them how to play baseball/softball, and have the opportunity to visit the first school I will teach at after I graduate this spring so I could look up at you and say, "we did it". But, I know in my heart, that you will still experience all these milestones with me. You will just be watching and cheering me on from heaven now
I hope that you will watch over me throughout my life and that I continue to make you proud to be your daughter. I look forward to being reunited with you again one day with a big bear hug. I love you forever ❤️
Your little M&M
