Funeral Service for Zach Welch and family

Hi my name is Janet Welch and I live in Aurora,Colorado,

On Friday June 9th my 39 year old son Zach was killed in an automobile accident on I 70 in Denver,Colorado where he was rear-ended by a large bus around 6 pm. Due to no emergency contacts being available in his wallet or his truck family could not be found until 8 the next morning where I was contacted by phone asking if I knew Zachary Welch? That phone call changed alot of peoples lives that day and we will never be the same! We are shattered and heartbroken as to be told about this over a phone call and then not being able to even see him at The Denver County Morgue where he remains until the investigation is complete and until we have the funds to move him to a funeral home to proceed with services!

Zach is survived by his only daughter that just recently graduated from High School. She has been left without a father at such a young age and is confused, angry, and devastated! Zach also has 1 younger brother Skyler who is also heartbroken! He is also survived by his Dad Chuck!

We would like to try and raise enough money so his daughter and our family can give Zach the proper funeral service and celebration of life that he would be proud and remembered by! Also a memorial fund for his daughter!

Everyone keeps asking me what they can do to help but Im not one to say or ask for anything but now I am answering that question! Please help!

Due to the pending investigation we are in a stalled situation but I would like to get everything started so my son isnt laying alone thinking we have abandoned him!

No parent should ever have to bury a child!! Im in a nightmare that I cant wake from!!
