Funeral Services for Christina Soltero

My name is Daniel Fernandez, and I am fundraising for the family of Christina Soltero. I am a counselor/professor at San Joaquin Delta College and Christina was one of my Puente students beginning in the fall of 2021. I recently received a call from Christina’s mother in which she told me Christina had been struck by a vehicle while driving in Merced, CA and passed away this week.

Christina had just participated in our Puente end of the year graduation celebration event and walked the stage at Delta's commencement on May 18th. Christina had just finished her first semester at CSU, Stanislaus with a 4.0, majoring in Criminal Justice and had career aspirations of working in law enforcement upon graduation.

I have created this Go Fund Me page to send out to the San Joaquin Delta College community and Puente community across the state in an effort to help Christina’s family raise money for her services.
