Justin (Lukeini) Michael Shannon, 46 (December 3, 1973- June 7, 2020)
Justin was born December 3rd, 1973, in California. He grew up in Utah.
He served in the United States Army for 3 years, and worked as an Aborist for 10 years and loved what he did. He always said "The most peaceful place on earth is in the tree's". Justin loved the ocean, playing loud music and working out at the gym and doing body building shows. Justin loved goofing off, acting like a monkey, and making up lyrics to any song. He loved dancing and singing... And being around friends and family. Before his passing he picked back up doing Fire Poi. He loved the fire!
He was heroic and saved the life of his wife (Melissa Shannon) before his passing, he was strong and protected everyone around him. He loved his children with a force you couldn’t reckon with. His parents and family meant the world to him. He was one to drop everything to help and always made sure to make someone smile. His smile and laugh were contagious to everyone around him. He loved to laugh and drew everyone to do the same with him with love and laughter.
He is survived by his wife Melissa M. Shannon of 13 years, His parents, and his three brothers, one sister in-law, and 3 brothers in-law. His children; Regan Shannon-Wilcox, Kailaya Frazier, Kai’Koa Shannon, and stepdaughter Miya Rayne Maxwell. Grandchildren: Sawyer Kaliko, and soon to be born baby Shannon-Wilcox in October (2020), best friend Steve Pappas..
His daughter Leakanna" Regan " wrote this for her Makua..
“ He loved nothing more than seeing his family together. His laugh was something that could carry through any crowd. He was always the life of the party. The most welcoming human to walk this earth. He had a heart of a teddy bear but would burn the world down if you asked him. Would drop anything in an instant for his kids, and his grandbabies were his world. He was a hard-working man no matter what issues it caused for him. He had the best hugs, the best laugh, the most Handsome smile."
To his family, his kids, his friends he was larger than life and he knew it.
His legacy will live on forever.
We will be doing celebration of life instead of a service.
