Lois Elaine Bridges McGivern was a beloved mother and grandmother taken from this world too soon.
She was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of seven, along with her brother, John. Throughout her life, the disease greatly affected her and her family with numerous hospital visits. In the last few months, her sugar levels started spiraling out of control and she spent several weeks in the ICU recovering from an acute episode of ketoacidosis coupled with cardiac arrest. After returning home from the hospital, her sugar levels continued to fluctuate wildly until she passed.
Lois's death came suddenly, leaving no time for the family to prepare emotionally or financially. We are asking for donations to help offset the cost of funeral services. If you are able and willing to help in this difficult time, we would be extremely grateful. Any amount helps! Please help us ensure that Lois receives a proper burial and that those who loved her can say goodbye.
