Donations needed for beloved son Mario Nez

I’m creating and writing this GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin Erica.

On Monday morning, December 12th our family received a message from Erica saying that she was notified by police her son Mario and his father were missing in Yuma. The two were returning from a trip to California. Around noon she was notified her beloved son Mario was found deceased. That same evening she learned his life was taken by his own father.

I can’t even imagine the emotions and heartache Erica went through that day. Praying and hoping to hear Mario and his father are found safe. Then hearing the worst news a mother could hear.

Mario had just celebrated his 19th birthday on November 7th. Mario was Erica's oldest son and the big brother of his 4 little sisters Ariela (15), Adaneli (13), Jhaiden (10), and Zofiya (9). He was his mom’s best friend and his sister's protector. Mario was the family mediator and always sorting out the drama in a house full of females.

Mario loved spending time with his family and friends. At family gatherings he was not shy and would come up to you and give you a hug with a big smile. His sister's described him as a fun, loving goofball with plenty of jokes.

Mario would always make sure to hug his mom and sisters and tell them he loved them everyday no matter what. After every phone call he would end it by saying, “Bye, I Love You.” Erica and her girls will never hear him say those words again.

The unimaginable happened to Mario. His mom and sisters are going through the worst right now. His grandparents, aunts, uncle, cousins and friends are mourning the loss of an amazing, loving young man gone to soon. Erica has to deal with the aftermath of what her children's father has done. I'm asking for donations for Erica at this time. I know times are tough and the holidays are here but anything would help. If you could please share this GoFundMe that would be greatly appreciated.
