Funeral Services for Mechelle Jones

Mechelle “Shelly” Jones gained her Angel Wings on November 24, 2022 at the age of 55. Shelly was diagnosed with Glioblastoma “a terminal brain cancer ” in June 2022. soon after diagnosis, shelly started several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. She fought to live each day with an open heart hoping for a miracle. Shelly soon moved in with me and I began taking care of her full time never leaving my baby sister’s side. Shelly loved many things like the beach, music, mountains, traveling and being with friends and family even if it was just for a good laugh! She had a big dream to some day go to Colorado to see the mountains. Many may not know that Shelly was burned as a small child and she had always had a fear of fire. With that, she told me that she did not want to be cremated after passing and that she would like to have a burial service. Due to her fear, I’m trying to respect her wishes and give my sister a service that she deserves. I am asking our friends and family to find it in their hearts if you would like to donate, please know any funds received will go towards Shelly’s funeral expenses.
