Quiero compartir con ustedes que mi hermana, Zuleika, falleció esta mañana, 7 de julio. Nuestros corazones están destrozados. Ella estuvo rodeada por nosotros y cuidada con mucho amor hasta su último aliento. Ahora ha dejado una gran ausencia en nuestras vidas. Mi hermana nos pidió que por favor la enterráramos en República Dominicana, donde nació y donde creció. Sus maletas estaban listas para viajar a RD justo antes de que su condición empeorara, pero nunca pudo viajar para ver a su familia allá. Gracias de todo corazón por su amor y apoyo durante este tiempo. ¡Dios los bendiga!
I want to share with you that my sister, Zuleika, passed away this morning, July 7. We are heartbroken. She was surrounded by us and taken care of lovingly until her very last breath. She is leaving such a huge hole in our lives. My sister asked us to please bury her in the Dominican Republic, where she was born and where she grew up. Her bags were ready to travel to DR just before her condition worsened, but she was never able to travel to see her family there. Thank you all for your love and support during this time.
