Funeral Services for my Grandfather Roy

My grandfather, Roy, was loved by his family and friends, and had the kindest heart. He was very energetic and nothing could stop him, however, on February 29th, 2024, he went in for a procedure to help with a hernia that was becoming a major issue for his nutrition and health, and during his recovery, he suffered a heart attack which led him to be placed on life support. Our family was later notified he suffered severe brain damage that he unfortunately would not recover from. We believed we would have more time with him and prayed for a miracle and his recovery, but he passed early morning on March 31st, 2024. Unfortunately he had no life insurance, and as a disabled Veteran we believed he would have some help given through the VA but sadly, it’s nothing we can use to cover any major costs. Our family truly wishes we didn’t have to ask for help, but any help would be greatly appreciated as all we want is to give him a service he deserves, and to allow him to rest peacefully.
