Funeral Support for Oscar A. Gomez

With great sadness, we announce the loss of a beautiful giant in heart and soul.  Laura Gomez, our beloved secretary at St. Philip Neri, lost her only son, Oscar Andres Gomez, of only 24 years old on Dec. 13, 2020, to this terrible pandemic that we are all suffering from in one way or another.  Her family at SPN, on behalf of the English Ministry and Department of Religious Education (Nuestra RED), unite with her in an effort to help with funeral costs of this tragic and unexpected death.  Laura has been the link of our parish in all sense of the word for 15 years and she is loved by many.  Laura is the sole provider and caregiver of her ailing mother & besides both testing positive, she also suffers from other health problems.   Losing a son is devastating for any parent, but with your generosity, the burden & pain is a bit less when we help one another.

Your donation in any amount is greatly appreciated!  Remember, no amount is too small for someone in desperate need.  Your prayers and monetary help will not go unnoticed by our Heavenly Father.  And please, please, protect yourself and others, because this illness does not discriminate, but it affects every body differently.  "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".  ~God Bless You!

Con gran tristeza, anunciamos la perdida de un gran gigante de corazon y alma.  Laura Gomez, nuestra amada secretaria de San Felipe Neri, perdio a su unico hijo Oscar Andres Gomez de tan solo 24 años el 13 de diciembre, a esta terrible pandemia de la que todos sufrimos de una manera u otra.  Su familia de SPN, atravez del ministerio de Ingles y el Departamento de  Educacion Religiosa, nos unimos con ella en esfuerzo para ayudar con los costos fenubres de esta tragica e inesperada muerte.  Laura ha sido el enlace de nuestra parroquia en todo sentido por 15 años y se le quiere por muchos.  Laura es la única proveedora y cuidadora de su madre enferma, y además de ambas salir positivas, ella tambien sufre de otros problemas de salud. Perder un hijo es devastador para cualquier padre, pero con su generosidad, la carga y el dolor se desminuyen un poco cuando nos ayudamos unos a otros.

¡Su donación en cualquier cantidad es muy apreciada! Recuerde, ninguna cantidad es demasiado pequeña para alguien que lo necesita desesperadamente. Sus oraciones y ayuda monetaria no pasarán desapercibidas para nuestro Padre Celestial. Y por favor, por favor, protéjase y proteja a los demás, porque esta enfermedad no discrimina, pero afecta a cada cuerpo de manera diferente.
