Funeral expenses for our father, Johnson H. Peters
Donation protected
My father, Johnson H. Peters passed away from COVID19 while he was living in a nursing home in Farmington, New Mexico. We were only told about his passing yesterday as he passed away last week. My brother and sisters and I are planning his funeral and are sadden to hear of his passing. For the next few days we are coming together to remember our father and will lay him to rest where he grew up in Sheep Springs, New Mexico on the Navajo Reservation a few of us don't live on the reservation so we will be traveling to the Navajo Nation.
My father was born on Feb 17, 1939, he attended Intermountain Indian Boarding School, was part of the US Indian Relocation program and lived in Oakland Ca, and later moved back (with my mother) to the reservation in 1970s and lived his life out on the Navajo Reservation.
Donations will be used for his funeral expenses and traveling him back to him homeland.
Thank you (ahéhee') wear a mask and love and protect your family.
