Nach Hilfe zu fragen ist nie leicht. Doch heute geht es um Burim.

Wir kennen und schätzen Ihn als stolzen und liebevollen Vater. Als Bruder, Onkel, Schwager der uns stets unterstützend zur Seite stand.

Man kennt ihn aber auch in Hanau. Viele kennen ihn vom Fußballplatz: Jahrelang war er Profifußballer, später engagierte er sich ehrenamtlich als Jugendtrainer und begleitete junge Spieler mit Herzblut und Geduld. Für viele war er nicht nur Trainer, sondern Vorbild.

Auch mit seinen Kenntnissen als Mechatroniker half er, wo Hilfe gebraucht wurde. Wer ein Problem hatte – Burim war da. Unkompliziert. Hilfsbereit. Zuverlässig.

Vor 5 Jahren erfüllte er sich den Traum vom eigenen Zuhause für seine Familie in Hanau. Ein Ort voller Leben für seine vier Töchter.

Nur zwei Jahre später änderte eine Diagnose alles:

Glioblastom – einer der aggressivsten Gehirntumore.

Burim kämpft seitdem mit beeindruckender Stärke.

Doch als Folge de Op kämpft er auch immer wieder mit epileptischen Anfällen und stürzt häufig, was den Alltag extrem unsicher und anstrengend macht. Die Belastung für die Familie ist nicht nur emotional enorm.

Da bereits die erste Operation zu großen Teilen privat finanziert werden musste, hat die Familie hat ihre gesamten Ersparnisse aufgebraucht.

Im November 2025 kam die nächste schwere Nachricht: Der Tumor ist zurück und wächst. Eine weitere Operation ist notwendig, doch auch dieses mal werden erhebliche Kosten nicht vollständig übernommen.

Meine Schwester gibt alles, um seine Lebensqualität so gut wie möglich zu erhalten – organisatorisch, emotional und körperlich.

Burim hat einen Schwerbehindertengrad von 100, deshalb haben wir bereits mit notwendigen Umbauarbeiten im Haus begonnen, insbesondere im Badezimmer, das barrierefrei umgebaut werden muss.

Es besteht eine Wahrscheinlichkeit von 90% das er aufgrund des wachsenden Tumors oder durch die Op selbst gelähmt wird.

Die Spenden werden für folgende dringende Bedürfnisse eingesetzt:

-Mitfinanzierung der anstehenden Operation (ca. 25.000 €) und der medizinischen Kosten, die nicht vollständig übernommen werden.

-Fertigstellung des barrierefreien Umbaus des Badezimmers (ca. 15.000 €), damit Burim sich dort sicherer und mit Hilfsmitteln bewegen kann.

-Weitere notwendige Maßnahmen zur Barrierefreiheit im Haus, wie ein Treppenlift, Türverbreiterungen und eine Rampe für den Hauseingang etc, um den Alltag bei möglichen Lähmungen überhaupt bewältigen zu können.

-Absicherung des Familienheims, das noch nicht abbezahlt ist, damit die Familie ihr Zuhause nicht verliert und die vier minderjährigen Töchter einen stabilen Ort behalten.

Wir konnten bereits 20.000 € über PayPal sammeln, wofür wir unendlich dankbar.

Zeigt es doch wie sehr Burim geschätzt wird und dass es sich lohnt, mutig zu sein und nach Hilfe zu fragen.

Trotzdem reichen diese Mittel nicht aus, um alle anstehenden Kosten zu decken. Mit dieser Kampagne möchten wir die noch offene Lücke schließen.

Wir werden transparent darüber informieren, wie die Spenden verwendet werden und regelmäßig Updates zum Gesundheitszustand, zu den Umbauten und zur finanziellen Situation geben.

Jede Spende – unabhängig von der Höhe – hilft, den enormen Druck auf die Familie zu lindern und ihnen die Möglichkeit zu geben, sich auf das Wesentliche zu konzentrieren: Burims Gesundheit und die gemeinsame Zeit.

Asking for help is never easy. But today it is about Burim.

We know and value him as a proud and loving father, and as a brother, uncle, and brother‑in‑law who has always stood by our side with support.

People also know him in Hanau. Many know him from the football pitch: for years he was a professional football player, and later he volunteered as a youth coach, guiding young players with passion and patience. For many he was not just a coach, but a role model.

With his skills as a mechatronics technician, he also helped wherever help was needed. If someone had a problem – Burim was there. Uncomplicated. Helpful. Reliable.

Five years ago, he fulfilled his dream of owning a home for his family in Hanau – a place full of life for his four daughters.

Only two years later, a diagnosis changed everything:

Glioblastoma – one of the most aggressive brain tumors.

Since then, Burim has been fighting with impressive strength.

Since the first operation, Burim has repeatedly suffered epileptic seizures and falls frequently, making everyday life extremely unsafe and exhausting. The burden on the family is enormous – emotionally and financially.

The first operation had to be largely financed privately, and the family used up all their savings.

In November 2025, the next devastating news came: the tumor is back and growing. Another operation is necessary, but once again, a significant part of the costs will not be covered.

My sister is giving everything she has to maintain his quality of life as much as possible – organizationally, emotionally, and physically.

Burim has a certified disability level of 100, which is why we have already started the necessary renovation work in the house, especially in the bathroom, which must be converted to be barrier‑free.

There is a 90% probability that he will be paralyzed, either due to the growing tumor or as a result of the operation itself.

The donations will be used for the following urgent needs:

– Co‑financing of the upcoming operation (approx. €25,000) and the medical costs that are not fully covered.

– Completion of the barrier‑free renovation of the bathroom (approx. €15,000), so that Burim can move there more safely and with the help of aids.

– Further necessary measures to make the house accessible, such as a stairlift, widening of doors, and a ramp at the house entrance, in order to make everyday life manageable in case of possible paralysis.

– Securing the family home, which has not yet been paid off, so that the family does not lose their home and the four underage daughters can keep a stable place to live.

We have already been able to raise €20,000 via PayPal, for which we are infinitely grateful.

It shows how much Burim is appreciated and that it is worth being brave and asking for help.

Nevertheless, these funds are not enough to cover all upcoming costs. With this campaign, we want to close the remaining gap.

We will be transparent about how the donations are used and will provide regular updates on Burim’s health, the renovations, and the financial situation.

Every donation – no matter the amount – helps to ease the enormous pressure on the family and gives them the chance to focus on what truly matters: Burim’s health and their time together.

Të kërkosh ndihmë nuk është kurrë e lehtë. Por sot bëhet fjalë për Burimin.

Ne e njohim dhe e vlerësojmë si një baba krenar dhe të dashur, si vëlla, dajë/xhaxha dhe kunat që ka qenë gjithmonë pranë nesh me mbështetje.

Burimi njihet edhe në Hanau. Shumë njerëz e njohin nga fusha e futbollit: për vite me radhë ai ishte futbollist profesionist, dhe më vonë u angazhua si trajner vullnetar i të rinjve, duke i shoqëruar lojtarët e rinj me pasion dhe durim. Për shumëkënd ai nuk ishte vetëm trajner, por një shembull.

Me njohuritë e tij si mekanik mekatronik, ai ndihmonte kudo që nevojitej ndihmë. Kushdo që kishte një problem – Burimi ishte aty. I thjeshtë. I gatshëm për të ndihmuar. I besueshëm.

Pesë vite më parë, ai e realizoi ëndrrën për një shtëpi të vetën për familjen e tij në Hanau – një vend plot jetë për katër vajzat e tij.

Vetëm dy vite më vonë, një diagnozë ndryshoi gjithçka:

Glioblastoma – një nga tumorët më agresivë të trurit.

Që atëherë, Burimi po lufton me një forcë mbresëlënëse.

Që nga operacioni i parë, Burimi ka pasur shpesh kriza epileptike dhe bie shpesh, gjë që e bën jetën e përditshme jashtëzakonisht të pasigurt dhe rraskapitëse. Ngarkesa për familjen është e madhe – emocionalisht dhe financiarisht.

Operacioni i parë duhej të financohej në pjesën më të madhe privatisht dhe familja ka shpenzuar të gjitha kursimet e saj.

Në nëntor 2025 erdhi lajmi tjetër i rëndë: tumori është kthyer dhe po rritet. Një operacion tjetër është i domosdoshëm, por edhe këtë herë një pjesë e madhe e kostove nuk mbulohet.

Motra ime po jep gjithçka që ka për t’ia ruajtur sa më shumë që të jetë e mundur cilësinë e jetës – në aspektin organizativ, emocional dhe fizik.

Burimi ka një shkallë të aftësisë së kufizuar 100%, prandaj kemi filluar tashmë punimet e nevojshme të përshtatjes në shtëpi, veçanërisht në banjo, e cila duhet të bëhet e përshtatshme për persona me aftësi të kufizuara.

Ekziston një probabilitet prej 90% që ai të mbetet i paralizuar, qoftë për shkak të rritjes së tumorit, qoftë si pasojë e vetë operacionit.

Donacionet do të përdoren për këto nevoja urgjente:

– Bashkëfinancimi i operacionit të ardhshëm (rreth 25.000 €) dhe i kostove mjekësore që nuk mbulohen plotësisht.

– Përfundimi i përshtatjes së banjës në mënyrë të aksesueshme (rreth 15.000 €), në mënyrë që Burimi të mund të lëvizë atje më i sigurt dhe me mjete ndihmëse.

– Masa të tjera të domosdoshme për ta bërë shtëpinë të aksesueshme, si një ashensor shkalle, zgjerim i dyerve dhe një rampë në hyrjen e shtëpisë, në mënyrë që jeta e përditshme të jetë e përballueshme në rast të një paralize të mundshme.

– Sigurimi i shtëpisë familjare, e cila ende nuk është shlyer, në mënyrë që familja të mos e humbasë shtëpinë dhe katër vajzat e mitura të kenë një vend të qëndrueshëm ku të jetojnë.

Deri tani kemi arritur të mbledhim 20.000 € përmes PayPal, për çka jemi pafundësisht mirënjohës.

Kjo tregon sa shumë vlerësohet Burimi dhe se ia vlen të jesh i guximshëm dhe të kërkosh ndihmë.

Megjithatë, këto mjete nuk mjaftojnë për të mbuluar të gjitha kostot që po vijnë. Me këtë fushatë duam të mbulojmë boshllëkun që ka mbetur.

Ne do të jemi transparentë për mënyrën se si përdoren donacionet dhe do të japim rregullisht përditësime mbi gjendjen shëndetësore të Burimit, punimet e përshtatjes dhe situatën financiare.

Çdo donacion – pavarësisht shumës – ndihmon në lehtësimin e presionit të madh mbi familjen dhe u jep atyre mundësinë të përqendrohen në atë që është më e rëndësishme: shëndetin e Burimit dhe kohën e tyre së bashku.
