Furever Happy Village

Hi, my name is Diane and I am raising money to help build a new shelter for the dogs on land that isn't liable to flood.

Furever Happy Village is a small shelter in Crete, Greece, for stray dogs, run by Katja Brakenhoff, who need a bit of extra care.

It is run on her own by Katja who has asked me to do this fund raiser as Greece is not able to at the moment. All monies donated will be sent from me to Furever Happy Village.

Every donation will help, whether it is the cost of a cup of coffee, or a 4 course meal.

Every pound, euro or dollar will be appreciated.

Thank you all who helped us reach our total of £3,500, which was for the land. We now welcome 2024 and have increased our aim to £6,000 to help for the dogs needs.

Thank you so much to all who have donated so far. With your help Katja was able to buy new land and soon will be able to build Furever Happy Village where all her dogs can be safe.

Unfortunately this does not mean that she doesn't need our help anymore. The 7 puppies dumped at her gate are all doing well but will soon need vaccine etc and the two dogs who had problems at the same time will need on going treatment from the Veterinary . These were additional expenses not accounted for. So also on the land more enclosures need to be built than initially anticipated.

Beside these new enclosures, there is a constant need for

food for all 36 dogs that Katja is currently taking care of. This is cutting into the budget for building materials right now.
