Furnace for 90yr old grandma’s historic home!

I’m looking to raise funds to replace my
90 yr old grandmothers furnace  in her
historic home  !

Just a few weeks ago she kicked on her furnace for the first time this year . Just a few hours later she started feeling nauseated , dizzy and had shortness of breath . She also smelled gas fumes.  It took everything she had to make it to her living room to turn off
the thermostat. She almost passed out
and didn’t make it to the living room
where her thermostat is located . The  
same thing happened to her furnace last year!  Her furnace has been tuned up on regular basis through the years and she has had different furnace companies work on it to try to fix the problems . This time  around really shook her up and she is scared to death to turn it back on so , she has been using space heaters throughout her house on the cold nights!

You see , there are so many reasons why I feel my grandmother is so deserving of of this fundraiser . She was born in 1929, with a family of 13 siblings . She had Scarlet Fever as a child and had a very rough childhood
growing up . After high-school she went onto Nursing School at St.Marys . She worked as a Nurse for 48 years helping others while raising her 2 children as a single parent.  She
never drove a car but, instead would ride her bicycle to work or wherever she
needed to go . She bought her own house located in Deer Park , OH  in 1961 while 
single parent and worked very hard to pay her house off early. Through the years
she has always been there for her friends and
family , helped raise grandchildren and
always had a open door policy with food on the table . Unfortunately , she lost  
her one and only Son from cancer in
2008 that took a  heavy toll on her but
she continued to stay strong and be
there for anyone and everyone . She is
not only mentally strong but , she is
physically strong too and when she sets
her mind to do something she will do it .
Last  year she painted her basement all
by herself.

My grandmother would never ask for
anything . In fact , she has too much pride, she doesn’t even receive any type of
state assistance even though she would
probably qualify. She supports herself
and maintains her own home on her fixed income from her monthly Social  Security-retirement checks. 

For the safety of my grandmother and
with the  cold winter approaching , I’d
love to try to raise funds to go towards a new furnace in her home.

She did have a couple furnace companies come out and give some quotes .  One
particular local and reputable company
can come install a new  in her home on
November 11th . ( See attached  quote )
