We're doing a family marathon run/walk/crawl, to fundraise for Stepping Stones special school. Together each family will try to reach 42.2km in 2 weeks.
The reason we're fundraising is that after 20 years in rotting prefabs, we're finally getting a permanent building in Maynooth. The building has been used so it will need a lot of work to make it the perfect place for the students. Stepping stones is a special school for autistic children so we'll need specialised equipment, playground equipment etc.
We want to make the school the perfect environment for learning and we're very excited to see how much more progress the students will make when they can regulate their senses, have their personal space and have all the tools they need at last. We already had the best staff, now we just need the best building!
