Furthering Gretta’s Dance Career

Hello my name is Gretta Wright I am a 20 year old dancer from Huntsville, Alabama. I have recently been granted the opportunity to attend a summer course in Boca Raton Florida with Boca Ballet. It is a five week dance intensive, where we would be dancing all day, six days a week. Each week a different artistic director from a major dance company will be attending and teaching classes, repertoire, as well as holding seminars. I have been so graciously given an almost full tuition scholarship to attend. With this type of program, I am excited not only to learn and grow as a dancer, but to be seen and have instruction from such amazing leaders in the ballet world. It is such an incredible opportunity. Sadly despite the scholarship, I am having difficulties covering the cost of living expenses, as well as other things I will need, such as pointe shoes and travel. I am not in the position to afford this sort of program but given my scholarship, I would hate to waste this opportunity. I am asking for any help cover some of the additional costs. I will be unable to work during this time, and if an opportunity for next year presents itself, I would put any extra amount towards those expenses as well. Any amount would mean so much, and I would be grateful for any and all help. I appreciate you all.
