Furvivors Replace Our Farm Vehicle

Donation protected
Hi everyone.
I’ve been dreading making this for many reasons, but I think it’s time.

It feels selfish and wrong to ask for donations towards something that seems to not directly benefit the animals, but I have to remember that in so many ways it actually does.

If you haven’t already heard what happened, I was in a nearly fatal accident on Dec. 9th, 2023.
I was en route to help a friend and it was extremely foggy. I swerved last minute to avoid what I assumed was a deer, causing me to side swipe a telephone pole I couldn’t even see. It splintered my windshield which ruined my ability to see where I was going. It spun my vehicle 500 feet to the other side of the road where I struck a tree. If said tree was any closer to the drivers side, I wouldn’t be alive.
I had 1/3rd of my pancreas removed along with my spleen in emergency surgery that morning around 3 am, as well as a broken ankle. I spent nearly three painful and devastating weeks in the hospital, and I am just now returning to semi normal activity.

Unfortunately, I obviously totaled my truck. However, this truck wasn’t just important to me, but the entire rescue as well. It was our vehicle for hauling, picking up donations and supplies, hay, feed, and so so much more. I understand this is probably the last thing anyone wants to donate for, but we can’t do what we do without a farm vehicle of some kind.

I was extremely thankful to receive this vehicle a little over two years ago. A woman had bought it for herself as a gift for beating breast cancer, it was her pride and joy. Then the time came, and she was selling it to get her daughter a car for college. It came down to me and a man, and she chose me, a young girl who really needed it. She believed in my mission, and of course, girl power. I will forever be grateful for everything I accomplished with that truck, especially that it saved my life. But it’s time to move on.

I’d really like to put this event behind me. Every last dollar we donate will be put towards a vehicle to help us get back to our mission.

Im asking for as much help as you're willing, so we can move forward and keep doing what we’re doing.

I appreciate all of you for keeping us going. Furvivors wouldn’t be here without each of you.
