Help Abdullah Achieve His Dream and Help His Cat
Donation protected
My name is Jessica, and I’m reaching out from Arizona with a desperate plea for help. Abdullah Zakaria—a kind, compassionate soul who has lost everything—now faces a life-threatening crisis alongside his beloved cat. The unforgiving cold of winter and relentless rain are pushing them to the brink of survival.
Abdullah urgently needs funds to purchase the essentials to survive these harsh conditions:
- A new tent and protective cover
- Winter clothing and blankets
- Firewood for warmth
- Gas for cooking (approximately $100 per meal)
- Temporary housing to escape the brutal cold
- Internet access and charging his phone to continue his campaign
- Fees to withdraw his donations
These are not luxuries—they are the basics for survival. Yet, the cost of even the most essential items in Abdullah’s region is staggering:
- Flour: $150 for a 25kg (55-pound) bag
- Eggs: $32 for a dozen
- Non-dairy powdered milk: $124 per kilo (2.2 pounds) or $1 per spoonful
- Infant formula: $15 per tin (350 grams/12 ounces)
- Cucumber: $14 per kilo
- Eggplant: $15 per kilo
- Tomatoes: $20 per kilo
- Sugar: $28 per kilo
Even the simple act of cooking one meal costs about $100 in gas, making survival an uphill battle. The harsh reality is that even these basic necessities, which we often take for granted, are out of reach for Abdullah and many others.
Abdullah has poured all his love and hope into caring for his tiny cat, who is also fighting for survival. She is small for her age, fragile, and yet remains the light of Abdullah’s life—a constant source of strength in his darkest moments. Abdullah’s cat isn’t just a pet; she is his companion, his hope, and his reason to keep fighting. Together, they face each freezing night, clinging to one another for warmth and comfort, but the conditions are unbearable.
Abdullah home in October 2023
Abdullah is now living in a tent.
Abdullah thought he had lost all hope until one night he found a tiny, fragile white kitten shivering in the cold. She was fighting for her life, and he knew he had to save her. Now, she is his light in the darkness, his beacon of hope, and he is begging for your help to save them both.
He was preparing to enter college, dreaming of becoming a doctor, but his life was turned upside down. He lost my future, his home, his possessions—everything.
Now, he waits for hours just to get enough food to keep from starving.
I can tell you that the costs of evacuation are very high. We were forced to pay $5,000 to evacuate from this red zone. Unfortunately, I have a large family and we have children in the family, and they also need to live in safety and stability:
My family consists of 11 people and 5 children
11*5000=$55,000
5*2500=$12,500
Total evacuation amount is $67,500
This is without the cost of living. I know that the amount is large, but with your help, we can do it because we know that a person is the most precious thing you have in this life.
My family and I were subjected to bombing and certain death many times, and we narrowly survive
You can compare my life before and after this genocide through the two pictures
This is their last hope. Abdullah has always been there for others in need, but now he’s the one calling out for help. Your support—no matter how big or small—could save two lives.
Every donation, every share of this campaign, and every act of kindness could be the lifeline they need. Together, we can help Abdullah and his cat rebuild their lives, find warmth and safety, and regain their dignity in the face of unimaginable hardship.
Please, show your humanity. Stand with Abdullah and his beloved cat in this profound moment of need. Let’s prove to them that they are not alone in this fight for survival.
Act now. Time is running out.
