Funeral and Medical Expenses

Family and friends, 

Today we lost a father to four beautiful children, a brother to eleven siblings, a son, an uncle, a grandfather, and lastly a friend to many. Luis Fernando Hernandez lived a life full of joy while battling his diabetes and congenital heart disease. His last months of life were spent in and out of hospitals fighting through the pain. It is with great sadness that we announce that on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 our father has succumbed to his illnesses and left this world to be in a better place where he is at peace.
His passing was sudden and unexpected and therefore we are asking all of our loved ones and anyone who has the means to consider making a contribution to his memorial, burial, and medical expenses. 
The costs have estimated to be about $25,000. In no way do we expect to get this amount but please know that any amount no matter how big or small helps in a tremendous way that words cannot express our family's gratitude.
This will help relieve some of the stress associated with losing a loved one and allow us to grieve his death.
