I have only 9 days left to have the complete deposit any amount you can give would benefit me the VA Admin help found me a place that excepts dogs service animals especially I got vouchers for electric, water, food,rent etc I'm just missing the rest of deposit please if you can find it in your heart to help I would be greatly appreciated of it me and skoodle needs to be off the streets with my vision is worst day by day thanks again!!

He came up and started talking to me at la Jolla medical center Veteran hospital it kinda caught me off guard lol because he started talking like we been friends for years after all we talked about 45 minutes his wife reached in her purse and gave me and envelope I told them thank you but I didn't open it until at VSO waiting area I broke down and cried like a baby thank God I got his number I've done called and told both of them they didn't have to do that it's too much he Charlie I've been bless so I'm going to bless you he said now you got $1110 Dollars you almost there that was a god sent today you guys that prayed for me keep praying

My story is a genuine story because I'm in a bad place as of the moment alot of things has happened in my life anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated I've written some below a little of my back ground.
Hello everybody I hope everybody's having a enjoyable day I've been up here asking for help for a couple of days now and once again I want to introduce myself my name is Charlie Edwards and the people has donated to me I really really appreciate that you helping me that means a lot to me it really does for the people that don't know me I will tell you something about myself I am a veteran I'm homeless okay and the last 3 years has not been good in my life okay at all it's not an excuse at all I had a good life I had a wonderful family and everything but when COVID-19 hit. it hit a lot of families around this world hard but it hit me really hard reason being my wife died of cance 2020 in February then I lost my brother in May of 2020 then my mother passed away May 31 2020 then I had a son that was killed in KIA 2020 in December okay life is not being great for me to the last 2 years really and I lost everything with my PTSD my anxiety and all this other stuff is happened to me while I was in a iraq it really hit me hard it hit me really really hard and I've been asking for help from the VA I've been asking help from the VFW is the DAV the 1-800 number for the Red Cross I've been everywhere asking for help I do not drive I'm legally blind okay I take trolleys and I'll walk everywhere I go with my dog all right my service dog he's for my PTSD and all this other stuff okay but mainly for my PTSD and anxiety that's what the VA gave me him for me to help me control my pts and my anxiety so he does that he saved my life you know I try to commit suicide with my wife passed away we was married for 30 years my wife took care of me from 2010 all the way until she died meaning is she made sure I got my medicine I was taking my medicine right she did everything for me and I couldn't ask for a better wife so I'm asking y'all guys to help me so I can get back on my feet and have my own place I have people it's going to help me once I get the apartment I have that taken care of the problem is I don't have the deposit to pay for the house to get into that's the problem the va's willing to help me with everything and I got vouchers I got vouchers for the electric I got vouchers for a lot of stuff I don't have vouchers for the deposit that's what they want you know they want the deposit and it's not the government is asking for the deposit it's civilian people is asking for deposit all these different apartment buildings national City El cajon Chula Vista all these places around La Jolla all these places and I explained to them my situation and stuff and they still say well sir we still have to have a deposit so I'm asking y'all guys if you can if you willing to help me I appreciate it I will give you my email address my phone number and I will give you my DD214 my ID card I have all that information I'm actually I was going to go share my ID card so y'all know I was a veteran I blacked out everything so I just need help okay and I really really appreciate you guys I really do all you guys are wonderful your wonderful people and I appreciate it for you to help you have done in the past and to help you have done in the the future for other's
Hello everyone I'm a 56 year old veteran that I served in Iraq 2009- 2010 I lost my left eye on April 2010 the many doctor's I've seen don't know why that the optic nerve died (concussion) I asked because of lesions on my brain now then in 2020 I lost 4 family members and with my PTSD ANXIETY and Depression went down dark place lost everything I owned I try to commit suicide my service dog stop me! I went and check myself in for help I've been homeless for almost now 3 years because of the VA rating games Im asking for help for me and my service dog to get a place (stable) if you can help it would be greatly appreciated it's hard because I love working but as of now my health is going down hill I just need someone to believe in me and help because I know it's a lot of bad people take advantage of people with good hearts and it makes it so hard for the people that need the help but my story is 100% genuine I've fought for my country blood sweat and tears I lost friends I call the 1 800 number for the VA daily for answers help been to VA hospitals ask for help but nothing as of yet I did meet a friend of mine another veteran and stayed with him but after a while I notice things missing etc so I left my thing is I don't have the money for the deposit first and last month rent that's my problem that's why I'm asking for help
