funeral and other expenses

June 28th my beautiful sister lost the love of her life, Allen McDade, way too early at 58 years young. Becky and Allen met kind of unconventionally. A friend of Becky’s met Allen on a bus trip and thought the two of them would hit it off. So Becky and Allen started communicating via letters and phone calls; see Becky was here is Iowa but Allen was in the Marines in Hawaii. There was no internet or cell phones. Nothing where they could instantly connect and see/meet each other. Ma Bell loved Becky and Allen with those long distance phone calls. I believe it was January of 1986 when Allen asked Becky to marry him; sight unseen. Talk about your leap of faith. Just a meer couple of weeks before their wedding day (June 21st, 1986) Allen went on leave and came to Iowa and they met in person. They discovered they were both beautiful people inside and out. 37 years, 4 children and 16 grandchildren later they celebrated their 37th Anniversary. Just 7 short days later Allen went home to meet his maker. Allen is a man of faith. He loves God and his family. I know he is forever going to watch over all those he left behind❤️. Allen had a heart attack a few years ago and has been dealing with that. Lost his job, doctor visits and travel and all that entails took a toll on him and his family. It depleted their savings and with a health condition now it was impossible for him to get insurance. We’re not able to take away the pain Becky and her family are in but we’re hoping to ease the stress and worry of how to go forward without any money thrown on top. If you could find it in your hearts to help relieve this burden, even if it’s just a tiny bit, we (and Becky’s entire family) would appreciate that immensely.
