Teamgym European championships 2024

Hi, my names Joe and I have been doing gymnastics for around 13 years and competing for around 10 years, in this time I have attended all competitions the sport has to offer except from the highest level possible, the European championships. The first one I was eligible for was 2018 in which I missed out due to an ankle injury the next one being 2021 where I missed out from an elbow injury, as well as 2022 where a fell short because of a mistake in the selection event. In October 2023 I suffered a torn hamstring and after trying to rush back into training, tore it again in January, with the selection event in March I was sure that I would miss yet another year, however, after a couple month break I felt ready enough to compete and managed to perform well which got me a place in the GB mens national team, the competition will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan in October, the overall cost will be between £2000 - £3000, this includes travel, accommodation, training and kit.
