Medical Expenses due to a stroke

Hello my name is Ashley. 25 years young and healthy and so I thought I was. On Tuesday March 14, I woke up and realized I couldn’t get out myself out of bed. I left it go all day Tuesday thinking it was nothing important just a pinched nerve or a muscle cramp. Tuesday night I decided to go to Uniontown Hospital best decision ever. After spending hours in the emergency department ct scan, mri, tons of blood work and they came back with Lesions on my brains they don’t know if they are old or new. Fast forward to the next day and I get transferred to WVUH Ruby for higher level care with the stroke team. After more tests a long 2 hr MRI, a TEE Test, Speech, Lumbar Puncture they come back with nothing. No answers unexplained loss of my right arm that’s my dominant hand, weakness in my right leg. I was released from the hospital on Friday to only realize the headache from the Lumbar Puncture was unbearable to sit up or stand up. So I had to remain laying flat. Sunday March 19th I was back in the ER for a Blood Patch. After hour long procedure they finally got the blood from my arm to my back. Wow to say the least that relieved my headache instantly. Now to only hope I gain back my right arm is my only wish. My speech is a little slurred at times with time we can only hope for improvement. While I’m off work indefinitely till I can get therapy started my expenses are going to add up. We can only go up from here and hope that I gain my right side back completely. Thank you for listening to my story and I hope they will have some answers for us in no time.
