F-Cancer!!! And F Audra’s Cancer!!!!

In September 2022, Audra shared the news of her aggressive breast cancer diagnosis. Before she knew it she was in surgery for a double mastectomy, followed by 12 weeks of chemotherapy. She recently finished her chemo treatments and will be heading into 5 additional weeks of radiation. But the fun doesn’t stop there!!!! Due to the aggressive nature of this cancer, she will continuing estrogen blocking therapies for the following 10 years.

But let’s focus on the now, what does this family need now?

$21,000 is what they need.

Let’s break it down:

They currently have $15,000 in medical debt from Audra’s surgery, including all the additional bills that come with it, such as imaging, diagnostics, anesthesia etc.

With the beginning of the New Year comes a reset of insurance deductibles which is $5,000.

The extra $1,000…..to cover the 3% GFM fee so the family gets the amount they need just to cover current deductible and past treatment costs.

This isn’t a vacation fund, it’s cancer! It’s a real-life need, from a real-life family, in our real-life community!! (The vacation will come later!)
