Stuck in the Middle

Requesting help for my sick mother.
I am writing this letter because I want to ask for help for my mom Shirley aka Murley. She has been dealing with severe internal GI bleeding since 2020. She has not been working due to this disabling condition and I know it has caused her lots of stress. She has always been a strong, hard-working, single mother with a passion for helping others and any STRAY ANIMAL that comes her way. She has the biggest heart for anyone in her life and is the type of person others can Always count on. This woman has the silliest personality and has an impact no matter how big or small on everyone she comes across.
She was recently let go from her job due to her consistent medical issues. Most importantly she lost all her health insurance. She has already spent thousands of dollars for her out of pocket medical expenses and will continue to need more. She currently does not qualify for any government medical assistance which leaves her stuck in the middle. I tell her that it isn’t fair to see her this way when she has always done her part as a citizen. Now that she needs help the most, programs are rejecting her, but she is in the process of appealing and asking other programs for assistance. Until then we are here at this point. She stays so strong even though I know that she stresses every day. I worry for her every day since she needs constant care. My mom is not the type of person that will allow anyone to help her or ask anyone for handouts. I feel like it is now My turn to step up and try to offer some relief into her life. I wanted to surprise her and show that people out there willing to help in any way especially since she has always helped whenever she could.
To put a little background, my mom suffers from an internal hemorrhage disorder of her GI. Doctors are still looking to find a diagnosis, and cause. The constant bleeding and anemia are now taking a toll causing more nerve damage making her pain worse. This all started in 2020 when she was hospitalized for the first time. She has not had a break since then. Just last year (2021) she has had about 170 provider visits which includes hospitalizations. She has had every GI specialist, hospital in and out of San Antonio turn her away because they no longer can treat or not sure how to treat her. She was able to find 1 provider in Cedar Park, Tx. who has been a savior in this process. She has received at least 20+ blood transfusions and will continue because she bleeds internally too much. Unfortunately, this could continue to be an ongoing issue. This year already she has been hospitalized in 3 different facilities, received 5 blood transfusions, added 3 new specialists, and of course additional tests etc. We need her here with us and I am asking that you help ease that burden. I know times are hard for all, but if you can, any donations are appreciated.
