Help A Struggling Family

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Susie and I'm trying to raise money for a family in desperate need! I know this family personally. The dad is my brother's best friend since childhood. My son is friends with their son. Please help them if you can! This family was recently evicted from their apartment since they couldn't afford rent after paying for their daughter's medical supplies (which she needs to survive, but insurance won't cover! ) Ava, their special needs daughter, is in the hospital after having a life-saving surgery and her family can't visit her due to the current visitor restrictions. Ava's mom, Michele, has been her 24/7 caregiver since the day she was born, and is worried sick about Ava being all alone in the hospital. She couldn't even celebrate her birthday for the first time in 19 years (due to her being in the hospital.) To make matters worse, the dad was just laid off from his job, which was their only source of income! They don't know how they are going to pay for the essentials moving forward- food, hotel, etc.  Any amount is greatly appreciated! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! --------------------------------------------------------- In case you're interested, here's some more info about Ava, written by her mom: Avalena (aka Ava) is a precious 19 year old girl who was born at 24weeks gestation weighing 1lb 12oz and only 12 inches long. She started having medical issues right from the start, having parts of her intestinal tract removed, ending up with an illiostomy and the diagnosis of short bowel syndrome and malabsortion.  Next came the detachment of her retinas ,one eye at a time.  After having 6 surgeries on her eyes, she was left completely blind. I had to make the decision whether I cared more about her eye sight or her breathing on her own without  a ventilator.  The last 19 years she has been hospitalized more times than I can count and has had over 60 different operations and percedures.  After all  of that where we are now is she is fed only by a continuous feeding tube/pump. A couple of years go  her intestines completely stopped working and she was left with a colostomy tube (which only a very few people in the world have),but this was the only way we could save her life. Ava is the strongest person I know . Every time doctors have given up on her and even times when I thought she was giving up herself ,she has always proved me wrong. Even though her developmental delay makes it difficult for her to communicate she has a way of letting me know she is not done here . Everyone she meets ,she leaves with a smile.  I feel so blessed that God chose me to be her mom.
