Sammy B. Lucas Medical Fund

Samantha Bradtmiller Lucas has been a family friend of mine for many many years.  "Sammy" has been recently been diagnosed with a fungal pneumonia and empyema. Sammy just spent 2 and a half weeks in the hospital with a total of 34 days of fever.  Sammy is a wonderful busy mom to 3 beautiful children and needs to get better for herself and her wonderful family, they need their momma home and HEALTHY. 

She has been on a fungal medication while in the hospital that has helped her greatly.  She has gotten better.  She needs to continue on the medication so that she does not have a relapse.

She has been denied by her insurance company, Blue Cross, 3 times for the 2 anti-fungal medicines that cost thousands of dollars.  She now must purchase these meds with out of pocket funds that she can not afford.  Sammy is trying a third appeaI but in the mean time she has to be without the medication. We are praying she does not have a relapse due to the negligence of the insurance  company.

Please help Sammy get the medication she needs so she can get well and be home with her family  We all thank you in advance for your help.
