Bringing Justin Home
Donation protected
Justin Richard Brooks passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Hay River, Northwest Territories. He had been working there over the past few months, expressing that he had begun to find healing and peace in that time, on this new path.
Justin had a huge heart. He was a kind, generous, and friendly man with a contagious smile that could light up any room. He loved his three children—Oliver, Norah, and Josephine—more than anything. They are his living love and legacy. A son, brother, father, uncle and friend, he is survived by many loved ones whose lives he touched.
With this extreme loss, his family must bear the difficult task and significant expense of bringing him back home to La Ronge. On top of the weight of grief, logistics and cost to get him home, there are also funeral expenses needed to support the family in honouring Justin’s Life.
We lovingly ask for donations and hope that the community will come together to support Lorna to bring her boy home, where his life can be celebrated and spirit laid to rest. Please keep his family in your hearts and thoughts during this difficult time. Please be patient as the family navigates arrangements for Justin.
At this time, as we all reflect deeply about Justin and memories arise, I struggle to come up with enough words to express what Justin meant to me, the kids, his family and friends. I would appreciate if others shared what he meant to them - memories, stories, photos and videos can be shared here, http://remembr.com/justin.brooks . This is an active memorial website for Justin that can be accessed by all to honour and remember him for years to come.
