Rafael Tovar's funeral expenses

After a hard fought battle with cancer, one of our very own has succumbed to the devastation the disease can bring on a person and their entire family. A beloved man by his family, his friends and an entire community, Rafael Tovar said good bye to all of us the morning of September 26, 2015. Through it all, his family and friends stood by his side until the very end providing unconditional love and support. His selflessness showed daily as his only concern, despite what would be his ultimate sacrifice, was the health and well being of his wife Laura and the two young children he left behind, Brianna and Evan.

The accumulation of medical expenses has left the family in a dire situation as they continuously struggled to keep up with the demand. Even as they attempted to remain afloat, the final news of Rafael's passing has left them once again to fend for themselves and figure out a way to give him a proper good bye in the presence of his family and friends. While all those loved ones that stood by his side have provided much needed moral and financial support, the family is reaching out to a wider chain of support and community with the hopes of raising enough money to cover funeral expenses and the remaining medical bills that have remained pending to this point.
