Ambers Braces Fund
On October 18th, Amber was enjoying a sweet halloween snack, everyone's favorite, candy corn.... when all of a sudden her front right tooth chipped off. Of course she freaked out as anyone would.
The tooth continued to chip into pieces for a whole week, until finally , with the help of a few donors, Amber was able to get a dentist appointment and the donated funds covered half the cost of that procedure!! That was Thurs, Oct 16. They mildly sedated Amber to fix the front tooth, and when she "awoke" from her dental nap, had a beautifully perfect matching front tooth!
It even made her previously V-shaped-crooked teeth in the front seem a little more straight . All in all, Amber is happy to smile now. After having part of that tooth chipped off for years already (due to bad genes and hygeines , and one evil tootsie roll), Amber had previously been guarded for years to smile wholely at someone. With this quick chip fix, we are on a great start to have the further work done to make Ms. Amber have the great smile she has always deserved but never could afford.
Now that we got that out of the way, let's talk about Amber the person, not Amber the victim.
She's magnetic. Amber is creative, smart, witty, quirky in the best way possible; she has an unnatural love of fashion; she is enthusiastic and ready to "recover" . We believe throughout the next 6 months, Amber's smile will be picture perfect :)
But she needs our love, support, and financial help. Thanks for donating.
Here is a note from Amber:
Hello there. Thank you for a minute of your time. I have started this page because I have a desparate situation.
First, let me tell you a little about me: I am a 32 year old Graphic Designer. I like art, cat videos, makeup and working hard. However, my company does not offer dental insurance.
Friday, I was eating a piece of candy corn (gotta love Halloween!) and my front tooth just broke off!!
It hurts and is very uncomfortable. And I am now very limited on what I can eat.
a little financial assistance is needed right now because I can not afford to have this fixed. And the longer I wait, the more of it that chips off. I would like to get it atleast temporarily fixed, will probably have to end up getting an implant.... whatever the dentists can do to fix me up.
Any single penny that you can donate will be GREATLY appreciated.
In closing, what goes around comes around. When your teeth break, or you need help with anything i can help you with, I will totally be there for you.
Update .. Feb. 2015
These dentists have been great. Upon further discovery when Fixing the chipped tooth... we found six teeth that have to be pulled add braces with screws. o mg it's all so scary!
Since i don't have dental insurance I'm hoping some awesome people can help raise a little money towards the high cost of surgery and braces.
Thanks a lot!!
