Cuts for a Cause

Covid 19 is causing a unprecedented demand for food right in our backyard.  We wanted to help make a difference and thought a fun way to raise awareness and donations for local food banks would be to start a Cuts for Cause.  If you look anything like we do, everyone is in a serious need for a haircut!  Join Liam and get a mohawk!  Shave your head,  dye your hair or simply get a trim... be creative as this is probably the only time in your life you can do it without worrying about school pictures, work, big events coming up...take a video or a picture and post it on instagram.  Donate what you would normally spend on a haircut and help us raise money to benefit The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, Inc., and any donation will help make an impact. More information about The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, Inc.: The Food Bank is the only food bank located in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut. We solicit, collect, sort, warehouse and distribute donated food from such sources as national manufacturers, local merchants, state and local food drives and individuals. In addition, The Food Bank purchases meat and poultry in bulk at very low cost for redistribution to member agencies located in Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford and Wilton. Last year we distributed more than 1.2 million pounds of food.
