Support Travis in His Time of Need

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Hanna McDonald, Travis’s niece. On the 4th of July, when most people were celebrating, my uncle Travis was trying to save his home, his dogs, and everything he owns. He was in his home when he woke up and realized his house was on fire. There were neighbors who had seen the smoke and were right outside prepared to help, but the fire was spreading too quickly. By the time the Bushnell volunteer fire department arrived, the entire back end of the house was up in flames.

My uncle himself was holding the hose on the truck, trying to put out the fire specifically near the porch where he knew his dogs (Mia, Samson, and their new litter of puppies) were. He continued to try, but the fire wasn't going out. He threw his hands up in frustration and was losing hope. After about 20 minutes, the sheriff and another firetruck arrived and were essentially pretending to put out the fire. Two held the hose and sprayed his motorcycle and completely neglected the flames right in front of them (as caught on camera).

Neighbors and others in Bushnell had gathered and watched for over 2+ hours as the fire crew sprayed water over the house but only enough to look like they were doing something. The fire continued to burn. Travis asked multiple times to get inside and the sheriff's held him back. We have several eyewitnesses that saw two separate sheriffs officers tase him for simply pacing and yelling. He WAS irate. He WAS anxious. But most of all, he was sad. He had lost his two best friends and was watching everything he had burn in front of him. But they didn't seem to care.

After the events continued, they tasered him again and this time he was down. He was taken to the hospital. However, a fireman claimed he assaulted him and was going to press charges even though again there were multiple eyewitness testimonies that stated otherwise. Travis never hurt anyone. He never laid a finger on anyone... The 5th of July, the fire had burnt the entire house down to the ground... The walls that stood the day before were gone. And the firemen were there again pretending to do their job. His motorcycle was destroyed. (Even though it was fine when they arrived on scene)

Travis was moved to Scottsbluff jail and was originally being held on charges for obstruction (even though the fire never got put out even after he was taken in the ambulance), but now they are trying to get him for "terroristic threats". His bond is set at $25,000, as many know the required amount is 10%, $2500 to get him out.

I’m making this gofundme to help with food, gas, clothes, hotel rooms, dumpsters to start clearing everything and anything else Travis might need. Any help is appreciated! Thank you so much and please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
