May 13, 2020 my husband was in a nearly deadly car accident off of I35 and Ewing in Dallas, TX. His vehicle was a convertible and flipped over during the accident trapping him under the vehicle and causing his face to be pressed against the pavement as the car slid for about 15 yards. His right arm had severe lacerations. He had substantial amount of glass in his left eye and by the grace of God they were able to save his vision. He was submitted to facial reconstruction surgery for 5 hrs to be able to save what skin was left. Due to the COVID-19 and the unforeseen circumstances that we are now facing he has been out of work for the last month and as of right now we are not sure when he will be able to return. He is a resurfacer & in his line of work he is required to wear face protection and will not be able to do so. We are expecting a baby girl Camila in August and in these times we are asking for any help. My husband would like to personally thank everyone who arrived on the scene and courageously fought to make sure he would live to see another day for his kids. Special thanks to Scotty and his wife Kelly for gathering everyone to help lift the 3,500 lbs vehicle up off of him! YOU ARE A TRUE HERO! Also, we’d like to thank them for taking care of our puppy Boosie who was involved in the accident as well. He was returned home the following day with not even a scratch on him! We appreciate everyone and all the prayers that have been placed upon us during this time. GOD BLESS !
