One more chance

This is princess, she is 10 years old but has the spirit of a puppy. She's was brought to me when I was 7 years old during a difficult time. She has been my best friend and therapist for the past 10 years. She's calm, a diva sometimes and super loveable! 

I took Princess to the vet about 1 week ago because I noticed a small hard bump on her lower stomach. It grew bigger within 1 week of us noticing. In her appointment the Doctor told us she has a mass tumor. My heart broke, I felt guilt because If I would of known sooner maybe I could of prevented it. My sister asked the Doctor was surgery the best route to go since she's older and so small, would she even survive the surgery? He said yes and that her recovery time would be 2 weeks!

I know she wont be in my life for ever, but if there is a chance to give her I will do anything to give her a fighting chance. She was put into my life for a reason, she saved me during the darkest times and I know that if she  could fend for her self she would do I the same in return. She has been by myside now its my turn to be by her side.
