Please help us save our Fur baby

Hello to all and first off, thank you for coming this far to read this. Our fur baby Alvis, has a urinary obstruction. Both painful and life-threatening. Alvis needs a Perineal urethrostomy (aka a PU procedure) is a surgical method for alleviating urethral obstruction in cats with complicated or recurrent obstructive feline lower urinary tract disease. The price to save animals, as many know is out of this world; however, my family can not fathom the thought of losing him. The cost of everything is up towards 6k to 8k, so I am going this route and asking for help. After the loss of my little sister and many mental health issues within myself and my family, Alvis has been much more than just a pet to me. He has sat up with me through nights of tears and lays with me to help with insomnia and panic attacks. He cuddles my daughters and brings us all so much happiness and laughter. I know many have more significant problems than mine, but this is devastating for me as an individual. Please help us save our family member. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
