Our funds will help send a container full of donated items from the Port Douglas community , and any extra will be donated to a relief fund.
More than 34,000 people remain in evacuation centres around the country.
Care Australia said the death toll from the category five storm stood at 44. It has been steadily rising as authorities make contact with isolated communities.
Many people in devastated areas have expressed frustration at the time it is taking for help to arrive.
Villagers on the remote Yasawa Islands said they were relying on food they had collected on the night of the storm.
"It is a very terrible experience even looking at their houses, living without any food," one local teacher told the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation.
"Some of them only have the clothes that they wear, nothing left. We have only the things that we have collected from that night.
"We've got wet sugar but we know that we have to make use of it ... we don't know how long it is for the rations to come."
A few dollars goes a long way. Thanks all, let's show them we care!!
