Gender Affirming Surgery

I am reaching out to help me thrive! I would like to undergo a gender affirming surgery which I am unable to afford on my own.

Starting hormonal therapy has been an immersive identity solidifying experience for me and I am ready to take further steps. To do so, I am reaching out for you to share and donate to my GoFundMe account to help me be me!

There is not a single day when I do not see the goal, I want to reach in my transitioning journey. The introspective world of this journey has so far been the most enjoyable experience. Whether it was happy, sad, joyful, angry, or frustrating. There was not a day I regretted it nor even thought about regretting it. Alternating hormonal levels in my body brought physical changes which allowed me to connect the picture of whom I knew myself to be with the physical body I was born in. Hormones can only go that far, and now I need further resources to help me continue the creation of me.

I come from a small place called Kavecany, located in Slovakia. Money has always been an uneasy topic for us. My parents had minimum wage jobs trying to make ends meet. All our savings would end up toward essential bills or unforeseen expenses. Despite the financial struggle I had a dream to visit Australia. I have been dreaming about it since I was 13 years old. Thanks to my grandma, I was able to arrive to Sydney back in December 2015. My working hours are still restricted due to my student visa. Saving up in large amounts is rather difficult due to all the expenses that come with the visa conditions. Working part time allows me to save enough money for hormonal therapy, and additional treatment I need. These savings however do not reach anywhere near to what I need for my gender affirming surgery. I want this surgery to be done by an experienced, and well-educated surgeon which increases the overall cost. This is where you can help me get closer to my saving goal by donating, and sharing my GoFundMe profile so more people can reach my fundraiser!
