House Fire

Hi, my names Amber im 30 years old. On New Years Eve while asleep in bed with my 4 cats a fire started in my apartment. With no smoke detectors in the house, I had inhaled so much smoke and carbon monoxide, I was not aware. Thankfully someone driving by my house that evening saw the smoke and called 911. The fire department came quickly and got myself and 3 of my cats out. After spending a few days in the hospital on oxygen I was put in a taxi and sent home. Without my phone and nobody calling me at the hospital I had no idea what I was going too. All the windows were broken out and everything I owned was gone, including one of my cats who did not make it out. Physically now I am feeling better, however mentally it's still going to take some time to deal with the trauma. Fortunately due to some amazing neighbour's they have brought 2 of my cats back to me with one still out there. There has also been some amazing people that have generously donated clothing to me to get me started on building myself a new life. I do work at a breakfast restaurant in town, however have not been able to return back quite yet due to lung corrosion, and breathing issues. Also I am currently staying with my dad who lives out of the way of my job. I've never asked anyone for help before, after the outpouring of support to donate clothing to me, I thought I would give this a try to get started on the next steps to rebuild my life I lost. Any little bit will help and I am so very grateful for anything.
