My mother's breast cancer fund
Donation protected
Hello to whoever took the time to read my story. My name is Nicole Henton and I'm 21 currently trying to live on my own while in school and juggling a job. The women in the picture is my beautiful mother and she is battling stage 4 breast cancer.
She has no insurance and between what I can provide and going through the city for referrals we have been doing our best. As of lately it has been really hard on all of us waiting around for the health system to get her what she needs and I am now having a hard time keeping up with her bills and my own as well as the medications she needs, any special food or drinks, and any other items she needs.
Her chemo is costing $2,000 a visit and her prescriptions run from $80 to $200+. So as you can see that load alone is a hard one to bare.
She always taught me to be independent and strong but we all finally hit the point where we need help. Any donation would help tremendously or even sharing/spreading the story. My goal is not all about the money, it's also about giving her hope and strength to keep fighting! The matching tattoo we have says "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." I want to give her that light.
