As many of you know, since my conversion 32 years ago, I have been crazy-in-love with God. Recognizing the gift of my faith, I ache for every one of His beloved children to fall in love with Him also, and I consider it an honor to pray for others; I truly believe that this gift is meant to be shared!!!
Over time, His 'still, small voice' has led me to the Holy Land to help begin a little community of like-minded women who wish to spend our lives praying for others. In June, I will be joined by another woman, and we will start to bring this dream to life!
Our immediate hope is to find a small home to rent for the upcoming year so we can roll up our sleeves and really live this life of prayer! The 'goal' I've noted will cover our rent and expenses, as well as provide a cushion for us as we begin.... but feel free to exceed it, as eventually, we will need to raise funds to build a convent!
Many of you have encouraged me through your prayers - I truly feel them - thank you - please keep them coming!!!!
Some of you have also inquired as to how we will actually 'do' this, and have been eager to help more concretely. Until now I've not known how to facilitate that thoughtfulness, but have discovered that 'Go Fund Me' is one possible option.
Another option (and one which will not charge a fee) is to donate directly via Zelle using my email address - if you prefer that route, contact me and I will give you more information.
since we are not an official tax exempt entity yet, donations are not tax deductible; they are simply gifts to help us begin
For our donors, we will have a 'Benefactors' book in which your name will be noted. We will also have a book of 'Intentions' in which we will note the name(s) of those in whose honor you are donating; this could be for a particular relative, friend, priest, etc. We will pray very specially each day for our Benefactors and for your Intentions.
